Scoped on Scopescan: 3AC a Major Worldcoin Whale?

The recent 350% pump of Worldcoin ($WLD) has a bigger impact than people may expect. Our data shows that the current liquidator of defunct crypto firm 3AC (early Worldcoin investors) is likely to own 75M $WLD ($560M) right now. This makes the address the 9th largest $WLD holder.

Here are other major whale moves this past week, as detected by the Scopescan team:

Ethereum co-founder Jeffrey Wilcke transferred a total of 10,000 $ETH ($27.28M) to Kraken, after sending 4,300 ETH to the exchange 4 days before. He is currently holding 135.74K $ETH ($375M).
Before the $ETH pump on February 14, a whale withdrew 11,999 $ETH ($31.84M) from Binance.
Whale 0x5636 withdrew 4,500 $ETH ($13M) from #Binance and deposited it into the ReStaking service provider Etherfi.
ParaFi Capital deposited 2.1M $API3 ($10M) to Binance, after withdrawing the funds from API3 staking.

On-chain Data

Double-digit inflow growth for several major exchanges.

From February 8-19, a mostly bullish period for crypto after $BTC’s return to the $50K level, 10 of the biggest CEXs saw net inflows grow by more than 10%. Leading the charge growthrate-wise is Bitget, which grew its assets by 37.10% or around $1B, followed by Huobi’s 17.05% and Binance US’ 14.96%. The latter’s parent company Binance gained $13.8B in assets.

Token cliff unlocks for APT, SAND next week

In the upcoming week, you should pay attention to the unlocking of $2382.44M worth of $AVAX tokens (2.6% of circulating supply) and $11.36M worth of ID tokens (4.29%), both on February 22.
